About Our Company Staff

While we have been in business since 1984, we could not have been successful for so long without the many talented people here at Hernando Pest Control. We are proud to have every single one of these individuals on our staff. Please take a moment to read about each member of our staff.

Our Management Team

Mollie Walker

Owner and Certified OperatorMollie has been with Hernando Pest since 1990. Mollie began as the only secretary, and in 2002 assumed ownership from John McCormick. She is fully certified by the Florida Department of Agriculture in household pest control, termites, lawns, and fumigation.

Rich Carland

Supervisory ManagerRich started with us in November of 2010. He also has an extensive background in pest control, having worked for some of the larger companies here in Florida.

Our Technicians

Mike Walker

TechnicianMike began his career with Hernando Pest Control in January of 1997. Even though he is cross-trained in all aspects of the profession, he is generally our termite technician.

Carl Whitehouse

TechnicianCarl joined us in March of 1998. His forte is general household pest control although like everyone else, he is cross-trained in other areas as well.

Dave Simmons

Sales TechnicianDave started with us in September of 1998. Dave performs inspections, does sales, and household pest control. Dave has been with other companies in the area as a salesman and lawn expert.

Patrick Sharosy

TechnicianPatrick has been with us since August of 2002. He replaced Jack Dunford after illness forced Jack to retire from his Spring Hill route (I’m sure many of you remember Jack.).

Davey Simmons

TechnicianDavey (Dave’s son) joined us in September of 2016 as a pest control technician. Davey is very knowledgeable in plants and horticulture.

Our Office Staff

Nancy Brady

Office StaffNancy joined us in May 2017. She handles a variety of tasks to keep the office running smoothly.

Jesse Wooten

Office StaffJesse joined us in March 2018. She handles a variety of tasks to keep the office running smoothly.

Rusty

Office StaffRusty was our first member of the Feline Team. He originally joined the team when the office was located on Fort Dade Ave. Rusty’s primary tasks include greeting customers and making sure various pieces of furniture stay in place by sleeping on it.

OJ

Office StaffOJ joined the Feline Team shortly after we moved to our current location in Brooksville. In addition to greeting customers, OJ makes sure that everyone is doing their work by sitting on top of it.

Tom

Office StaffTom is our most recent addition to Feline Team. He is very shy and only ventures out of hiding after an extended period of peace in the office.
